I don't know how inclined Nash is, to go to TOR, even if it IS for a boatload of cash. At this point, I'm sure he's thinking "contend," and not "$$$."
I dunno, you add Nash with Valanciunas inside and Bargs picking and popping in the half court. Plus Derozan, Ross, whomever else, on the break -- easily a playoff team.
$12 million/year should be enough to do the trick. Any team hoping Nash would play for cheap just to chase a ring just got nuked.
Interested to see where he ends up. Toronto? Knicks? Any other suitors or realistic landing spots? Looks like he'll definitely be moving on from Phoenix.
Wouldn't surprise me if he passed this up easily....how often is he even back in Canada? I think he wants to be in NY. The city. Being on a competitive team would be a bonus for him.
I think Lowry could still go there in trade and be Nashes backup. Rockets will ask for a 2013 unprotected 1st.
They have no cap room and just got clearance to use the early-Bird on Lin. Don't think he's going there.
