ESPN.com sources: Hornets and Raptors have also agreed to a separate trade that will send Julian Wright to Toronto for Marco Belinelli

The Hornets are looking to get younger and more athletic at the wing positions with Marco Belinelli and Trevor Ariza....

They definitely seem like they want to keep Paul...

belinelli is a pure 2 where ariza fits nicely at 3, belinelli can shoot and pop a shot with the best of em and has good awareness to, I have seem some great flashes with him, both these guys will do well with chris paul at the helm, good moves for the hornets, now they need to just add depth in the front court, and athleticism so paul can run

A Paul/Thorton/Ariza/West/Okafor lineup isn't too shabby. They were stupid to give up on Wright though. He brings a lot to the table.

I'm not too sure about your statement on Wright. While he definitely has potential to be a good rotational player in the league given his athletic ability, it seems as if he was never able to prove that he deserved PT. Who knows, maybe it was the coaching staff's fault for not playing him or maybe it was all on Wright. In the end, it works out for both parties as it was obvious that Wright was not happy to be in NOLA.

Garbage for garbage trade. Julian Wright will never be anything in the NBA and neither will Belinelli.
