I've heard a few rumors involving Bosh that I'd rate as "legit" from people on the Nugs board I trust (involving other teams), so this wouldn't surprise me too much.
I'd do it if it goes Beidrins and Ellis + a pick. For me this puts Toronto in great position as they can roll out a line up of: Beidrins Bargaini Turkoglu Ellis Caeldron THe pick should also be high enough as the Bosh, Curry tandom will be fun to watch but wont produce a lot of wins and the Jackson situation is still in Limbo. Please excuse my spelling its 2:24a.m in Sydney...
IMO each team would do it even if that wasn't the case. Bosh has pretty much sealed the deal on the decision of going out for free agency, the Raptors might as well get something before he jumps ship. I'd say Beidrins, Morrow, and possibly Ellis would do the deal but I don't think GS would give up that much for a 1 year rental.
Morrow is just a Wafer clone with a better attitude. He just looks good because he plays in a system that suits him perfectly. I don't see how that gets it done.
Maybe the rockets should get him. He is a texas boy, but hes from dallas. There is one good thing though as Dallas probably wouldnt have a better chance than us at signing him so why not? Maybe battier and hayes. If McGrady came back with atleast 22 a game, bosh could add 18 and we'd be that much better. if this trade ever materialized my only concern is that bosh doesnt dart for some other team if his stock rises
Bosh came to my city recently for training camp and while he was signing me an autograph, i screamed Sign with Houston,Come back to Texas....he got pissed at me
Interesting, if true. "If" being the biggest two-letter word in the dictionary. Is Nelson after some sort of dominant power forward that he can play at center? He tried that route with Webber, I believe, and that ended badly. Bosh supposedly bulked up to 250 this offseason but the one thing he should know is he'll be playing the 5 in Nellie's offense. Toronto needs to be looking to add some defense, should the team trade Bosh.
I just hope Bosh goes to a team that will play him at PF beside a real center because he has the talent and skill to excel when he finally gets on a more settled team. I'm tired watching this small ball/unorthodox/losing style of play. I wish people would get past the "oooh, high scoring!" stage and realize that it isn't championship basketball, it never will be.
