    Nice trade for Hawks.

Alright trade for Raps, wonder if Williams is Lowry's replacement.

I wonder If Lin was just not offered in that deal? Lin has more upside and current value then Lou Williams.

This was a salary dump of Lou Williams and Atlanta paid their 1st rounder last year to do it.

I could see Williams coming off the bench if Toronto doesnt keep vazquez.

Boston has Bogans, Johnson, Babb and Pressey who are all un-guaranteed.

Their contracts add up to 7.7 million, they could be a possible suitor for Lin. Although i think they have enough cap space to just trade a pick for him with nothing in return as well.

Lou is more proven and can definitely fit the 6th man role. That still is yet to be determined for Lin, even though I think Lin is better than what most people on the board think. hahaha

Wth? I thought Raptors just trade raped the Hawks. Lou Williams is a very nice back up Pg and nogueria is definitely a future starting 5.

Lou Williams is scoring off the bench, not a replacement starter for Lowry.

Don't peg him as a PG just because he's tiny. He can't run an offense and has no business being a starter. Think of Leandro Barbosa.

Vasquez might be done in Toronto.

We shall soon see but Lin should be gone either way. I don't see how he is still on the roster for next season.

Lou was injured all last season, and had a bad season this year IMO.

He's just a inefficient player, no defense, not really who the Raptors need to pair up with Derozan and Ross in the back court. Locus is a project who will likely never pan out.

Its not a bad trade though, Williams is alright and Locus might develop into a nba quality player. I'd just rather have more cap space if i were the raps.

There goes my Lin for Lowry trade scenario.

    :(

With that said, I'll laugh if Lin stays this year and we still get a superstar in Love while keeping Parsons.

    Trololol.

How much available cap space does Atlanta have now this year? Should I be worried?

I don't see much point in cap space this summer. If Lowry stays, they are near cap anyway. If Lowry leaves, there's no one good they will sign this year. Melo isn't going there. Hayward or Bledsoe are restricted.

Their best use of cap space this year is to help some other team and get a pick or prospect in return. Which they just did.

    Nice deal for the Raptors.
For the Hawks... all depends on who they sign. If they fail in free agency, then they just gave up Nogueira for no reason.

Dude, we'd be golden if we got to keep Parsons & Lin while getting Love.

Hate Lin all you want, he's still a great backup point, much better then Canaan. If you can keep him you do it. We need depth if we're going to be a championship team.

Parsons would be fun there. But I doubt they'd waste time. Houston would almost certainly match.

If Atlanta was willing to give up a prospect to clear this cap space, they probably have someone quite realistic in mind. Maybe Deng?
