http://www.cbsnewyork.com/siteSearch/topstoriesny_story_010111516.html Jan 10, 2005 12:05 pm US/Eastern Randy Johnson is in town for his physical, but things got a little out of hand when CBS 2 cameras caught up with the future Yankee on the way to the doctor's office. Monday morning, in midtown on Madison Avenue between 58th and 59th streets, CBS2 cameraman Vinny Everett shot some video of Johnson, a standard procedure with a big-name athlete coming to town. The security representative with Johnson put his hand on our camera, and swiped it away. He and Johnson then both yelled at Everett, saying, "Don't get in my face.....don't talk back to me!" The two then walked away CBS2’s Duke Castiglione was one block away and witnessed it from the distance, while New York Post sportswriter Mike Morrissey also saw the entire incident. Neither of the CBS 2 representatives were injured in the incident. The Yankees declined to comment on the incident saying that they wanted to see the video before issuing a statement.
Sounds like it's the other way around. This thread should be "New York gets it's first taste of Randy Johnson." Didn't like him before, don't like him now! Bad move by the Yanks!
