I love to look at all of your ideas, but I can never come up with good trades anymore. I think the first half of the year gives us some time to see who's improved (and to what level), sort out any injuries (hopefully none or at least nothing severe), and see how other team's seasons unfold. What stars or really good players may become available. We definitely have a deep team, with guys that can play multiple positions. So we can certainly do some consolidation if the right guy or guys become available. Going to be an exciting year!
Lauri would be interesting at the right price, but Ainge always wants more than the player is worth. Not a fan of Kat.

We are somewhat set after the draft. Brooks needs a new home without a debt in return, because he still has even value.
Trade 1: HOU - TOR - BRK TOR: Brooks (HOU) Gets valuable vet who celebrates Canada Day, ay. Could help replace Trent Jr - if he leaves. BRK Brown (TOR) + Tate (HOU) + HOU 2027 FRP (top 5 protected) Frees up cap space for 2025 free agency. Plus Brown has played in BRK before. HOU: Cam Johnson (BRK) + Finney-Smith (BRK) Cam is more valuable than Brooks (who literally had one of the worst VORPs in the NBA last year). Cam is a better shooter and hopefully rediscovers his defensive chops. Brooks & Johnson's contracts are nearly identical. Cam & Bari can switch up at the forward spots - depending on defensive assignments. Trade 2: UTH - HOU UTH: Finney-Smith (HOU) + 2 2026 SRPs (via HOU) Takes on DFW contract for 2 SRPs. HOU: UTH 2029 SRP (protected 31 - 55 protected) probably does not convey to Houston Houston moves off of DFW contract and stays away from LT FVV - Shep - Holiday Thrilla - Amen - Williams Bari - Cam W - AJ Griffin Cam J - Tari - Uncle Jeff Sengawd - Adams - Landale That team is a 2nd round contender IMHO & away from the LT Next year (2025 - 2026) Amen - Shep Thrilla (RFA) - AJ Griffin Bari - Cam W Cam J - Tari Sengawd (RFA) - Landale 2025 FRP + max cap spot for FA or trade
Mitchell would be the main playmaker with Sengun and Ingram as secondary creators. Combined the 3 trades would give us a lineup of: Mitchell, Amen, Ingram, Lauri, Sengun with Reed, Cam, Adams off the bench. Defense should be good with 3 lengthy wings.
