    Could be...who knows.

    Recently I saw this ad:

    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HApG6BdNDBA?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;color1=0x5d1719&amp;color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HApG6BdNDBA?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;color1=0x5d1719&amp;color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Makes some sense given that they are starting their US penetration with flights out of LA. Though among Lakers players, I wonder if Pau might have been a better choice, with some crossover appeal to Americans and Europeans. Still, you can't really get any higher profile than Kobe Bryant when it comes to NBA player endorsements.

    lol

I hear that Armenians in Los Angeles are very unhappy with Kobe, with the whole Armenian Genocide thing that the Turkish government refuses to acknowledge.

Los Angeles has the highest % of Armenians in the State of California, and Turkish Airlines is partially sponsored/owned by the Government of Turkey.

    interesting.
