Sooo.. Yesterday on SportsNation, they were talking about Chris Johnson (RB from the Titans) and said that Rajon Rondo challenged him to a footrace. Chris Johnson's tweet. "My bradda @lambo6 called me and said they point gaurd rondo want to race me for 2k that's easy money set it up on espn" What do you guys think about this? Is Rajon Rondo smoking crack like this guy says ~~ "RT @kbull53 If Rondo thinks he can beat @ChrisJohnson28 in a race, he's been smokin too much of blake shelton's crack! That boy can MOVE!!" Discuss
Rondo's hubris is getting ridiculous. What is it about going to Boston and turning into a complete douchenozzle.
Rajon has to be smoking something. If Chris Johnson can run fast with all the football gear on, imagine how fast he is with just shoes, shorts, and a T-shirt.
CJ posted the fasted time every recorded at the combine! 4.24 sec forty which beat darren mcfaddens and dexter jacksons 4.27 rondo needs a reality check! he prolly couldn't even run a 4.6
Rondo claims to have ran a 3.9 40. We truely don't get to see him in a full sprint because he usually has a ball in his hand. I think is more important is how will this be regulated? Will be 100 meters or 200 meters. Will they just do a 40 yard sprint or will the do a basketball distance sprint? What about the surface grass, wood or track surface? I don't see them racing who will get get the high spit of the purse will it be 40-60 or how about 40-40 with the winner getting the remaining 20%? Too much stuff needs to be negociated!
I think it would be a good race. Why don't we throw in Desean Jackson, Johnny Knox, Devin Hester, Monta Ellis and Aaron Brooks as well as anyone else who wants to play. Each player throws in 5G's to the pot winner takes all. I'd bet money on DeSean Jackson. That's one fast mofo.
He must have something up his sleeve if it was. I think AB vs. CJ would be more entertaining. He's at least considered one of the fastest PGs in the league. But of course Brooks wouldn't be a complete idiot like Rondo and challenging him too a foot race. Football speed is way more different than basketball speed, imo.
