Rafer alston actually get 2 votes as the MIP!!! A first and a third. I wonder who voted for him? Any idea? Hedo won it, with Gay and Aldrige coming in 2nd and 3rd. http://www.nba.com/news/hedo_mip_080428.html
I would have voted him 2nd, i hate giving these really young players the vote that have barely started for one season and then have a good season
His stats might not of but if you look at how he played, he actually tried to lead this team, it was obvious in game 3, to see how much we missed him, he played reallllly well this season after many people (including myself) wanted him traded in the offseason, people had mike james, steve francis and (some people) aaron brooks infront of alston for our PG position. I have to edit my last post i would have voted: 1. Hedo 2. Rondo 3. Alston
i knew it was going to be Hedo! i win! lol...anyway..rafer should be like top 5 or something compared to last year~~
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't rafer's stats from this year slightly WORSE than last year? Down in FG%, 3PT%, FT%, assists Up in Turnovers
