I just caught the clip of Rafer smacking Eddie House upside the head during game 2 of Boston-Orlando.... what happened?
here's the video footage. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3s37pUb168M&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3s37pUb168M&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Nah I think he will be suspended. NBA will send a message that you can't go around smacking your opponent in the head out of frustration.
I thought it was a pat on the back, instead it looked like an angry wafer actually striking House, deserves suspension, a pat on the back (in acknowledgment) of Eddie's great night would have been more appropriate.
Eddie House's comments after the game were funny. "That's what happens when you're busting somebody's ass." "I can get my hands on a lot of balls."
house elbowed him in the stomach, and it was an instant reaction. The initial contact by house was most likely an accident though, and rafer responded but yeah you don't go around smacking dudes in the head, especially if they are eddie house who is no doubt full of himself.
Should wait until he's driving in for a layup and then smack his head. That isn't a suspension according to the league.
I didn't see an elbow to the stomach in the replay, and slapping is an instant reaction? LOL give me a break.
if rafer gets suspended, then so should rondo for what he did in the bulls series. yes, it was a slap, but there was no intent to "hurt." on the other hand, throwing an elbow at someone is. the NBA has a lot of explaining to do...

Charlie Murphy: I'm standing there I'm thinking, "This ni**a really has lost his ****ing mind." First of all, you don't slap a man. Ok. I mean, even when slapping was fashionable, ya know, they did it in Paris, some guy would come up, "I challenge you to a duel." They would have a gunfight after that, somebody had to go!
