We pile on after every bad game, and he has his share. Let's give Skip some love for being the best PG on the floor tonight.

    17 points on 14 shots, 5 rebounds, 9 assists, and 1 turnover.

    Good game Skip!

He proved that he is indeed not the worst point guard in the league. Third worst behind Brevin Knight and Dan Dickau.

Well, Adelman apparently still trusts him a hell of a lot more than he trusts Mike James or Steve Francis. Neither of those guys played in the second half, and I'm not surprised. They both seemed confused on where they needed to be in the offense. Understandable for Steve, inexcusable for Mike.

Yes, Alston played a good game tonight. Very surprised he played the ENTIRE second half. We definitely needed someone else besides TMac to step up since Yao was having a horrible game.

Hope you caught this one, because he only has 4 or 5 of these a year.

Wow a rafer appreciation thread? Well, he did have his best game of the season so far. Too bad he only does this once out of like a blue moon.

APPRECIATION? APPRECIATE WHAT? REEFER bricking shot after shot? Even though he shot 7 for 14 today. You obviously didn't watch the game. He missed some rediculously ugly shots even when he was wide open. Everytime he shoots, he scares the living hell out of me.

When he made the 3 from the corner, the announcer was like "Steve Francis for 3!", than the announcer guy was like in shock and awe and corrects himself, no its actually RAFER! OMG!

    DIGUSTING.

Nice game tonight rafer but I still feel he'll disappear against the elite teams and get crushed under the pressure. I'd love for him to prove me wrong and we win a championship but I just feel it's unlikely. At least Francis is in the rotation now though.

Although he did have a good game, tonight's assist numbers were totally inflated. Half of his assists came from passing to Tmac on those curls.

Rafer shoot the ball if you are wide open!!!
I will take your 20% over McGrady's 18-foot fade-away with two defenders on him!

Funny thing is, McGrady will probably make those more than Rafer will make a three.

If you want, start a Battier/Scola appreciation thread for setting those screens to free T-Mac. Or start a T-Mac appreciation thread for hitting those jumpers. But my guess is that they'll get several more positive threads than Rafer this season. Let's enjoy this game by Rafer.
