i think rafer is trying too hard to please everyone..he just needs to play his own game..and not try to force everything..if that happens he will develop some sort of rhythm which will lead to good things to come...as of now..he's playing like a noob...i'd rather have Head play...as of NOW..

true that, but it's not complicated...he's a skilled player so all he gotta do is try to feed t-mac or yao in a way that it's gonna be easy for them to score after that...and yeah Head is a player i'm looking to see get more playing time...as of NOW...but I don't really care about Moochie, he's aight

YES YES YES....he needs to beat his man off the dribble and penetrate and finish or pass....get the other team rotating so we can take advantage.

SKip is better. He has a 21/65 shooting. Moochie 0/3.

Rafer would actually be good for this team if we were hitting shots.

rafer needs to go off da heezy fa sho!
Make them fools look silly at der on dat court!
    Represent yo hood Rafer!

PS I was goin to call Rafer, Raffy but that is too similar to Palmeiro and I dont think Alston is on steroids... but he might because of his lackluster performance lately, im guessing that B12 he got in Toronto is wearing off... looks like im dialing long-distance for him...

Neither. I guess we are keeping Moochie for uhm... I dunno... but right now Raefer Alston's performances hasn't been exactly spectacular. Last season I could still see where the Rockets were heading. Now I am just plain flat out confused. Yes we're trying to win but uhm how? Have we really made the right moves to improve the team. It makes me sick to see that Dallas might still be a better team than us. It just plain flat out sucks!

I think rafer just needs to let loose and play his game. He's not a spot up shooter, but a drive and dish type of person. I think he's trying to hard to please everyone and playing with his weaknesses instead of going to his strengths. Once he gets comfortable, he'll be fine.

Pretty sad to have a thread comparing our starting PG to Moochie Norris. If we were 7-0, we would have a thread like "Would you trade RA for AI'. Why couldn't Mike James fail his physical so we could have kept him.

    ^^^^^^^^^^

read what the last two said (tiger0330 & yobod)

Alston needs to play his game, does not look comfortable yet, that, and I don't think he really knows what his role on this team is yet, so he is trying to prove his bad rap wrong and will do anything anyone on this team tells him. just my 2 cents.

This is easy. Rafer has been playing bad but is usually a good player who has a lot of talent. Moochie plays bad, is a bad player and has little to no upside.

For those complaining about Rafer, I bet you would beg for him back after a few Norris games. Once Alston finds his place and gets comfortable, he will be fine, just give him some time to adjust.

Moochie is so freakin entertaining. You can laugh at how bad/entertaining he is. HIs girly shot, the way he struggles to bring the ball up the court against medium pressure, the look of satisfaction he gets when he makes the most insignificant plays. If he grows out his hair again I definitly want him in.

Rafer is horrible and not entertaining. If he would just let himself go a little and go back to his playground days and stop trying to prove he can be a conventional point guard I would want him in.

Rafer, like the rest of the entire freaking team, left his shot back in the locker room when they were packing for that road trip.

These guys need to find their shots in a BIG way. Every last one of 'em.
