Why does it matter that a mayor suggested that? Will that affect any task force in how they investigate and do their surveillance?

Doesn't it make sense for a leader to tell the public not go around and blame Islam and Muslims? Philadelphia has a sizable Muslim population? Do you think it's wise for the mayor state "Islam is at fault?"
