Any of you ever go on Saturday nights? I went for the first this past Saturday and it is pretty cool. The only downside is that if you can't run, you will get arrested by the cops if they catch you when they show up. I was just curious to see if any of my fellow BBS members have ever gone.
YES - been there several times. Lots of fights and drunk kids - it gets old after your second time. It's pretty dangerous when cops show up... You litterally have to run... and not only are you dodging from people but you have to dodge cars coming at you all trying to scramble from cops... I slipped on the mud last time running from the cops - while in the mud i was almot run over by a F150... the guy had to swerve in the mud to miss me and almost flipped over.... I just got back up and ran like hell. (10,000 kids we doin the same)... I do like it when the motorcycles and ladies race...
Yeah, it's fun, but like Hectik said it gets old pretty soon. Too many kids trying to be cool. Smells like pot and beer. We had to run from police once too (not literally run, it was more of a brisk walk.)
i uses to goto this Houston Police Explorers thing by Rankin Rd. Rankin Rd. is cool if you're a 16 year old LOSER. some kid got killed there a few months ago, so if you call stuff like that fun then that sucks for you.
I live by the Galleria, and I can say that on Saturday night- some kidz with their hopped up hondas and acuras race on Westheimer. Also some kids with bikes race as well. It's really annoying, because I'm just cruising along in my rsx Type S and some rice burner starts revving next to me.
Yes - this would be your real life version of "FAST AND THE FURIOUS"..... there are some honeys and on some nights there are alot more people there than in the movie. Only thing missing is the bad ass cars.. you only see a few...
