Same here. I wanted him out and i wanted him to take Cushing and Joseph with him. Glad these guys turned it around.
Of course we're playing better, faster, and tackling has improved but I've noticed a scheme change too. Corners are much tighter while we are using a bunch of underneath zone coverage. I've seen Simon, Cushing, even Clowney/Mercilus dropping into passing lanes and we only rush 4. Compared to the beginning of the season where every corner was giving a 8-10 yard cushion and it seems were more isolated.
Romeo has turned it around. Credit to the secondary, Cush, McKinney, and of course JJ. Rick looks like he might have hit on the 1st and 2nd rd picks this season.
Rick makes the pick if the player was a bust. If the player is successful some kind of way it was the head coach , oc, dc, uncle bob, or Toro that made the pick
Texans Defense... #1 third down defense... by far Allowing <9 pts last 4 games Watt - ALL-TIME BEAST McKinney/KJ - rookie ballers
1 passing TD vs... 8 takeaways! During our 4 games winning-streak against some talented offenses: Bengals(4th ranked), Jets(7th..surprising), and Saints(13th) note: these are their current offense rankings, after facing us
Those were rankings for Points/game averages. Btw, to add to that, New Orleans is ranked #3 in total offensive yardage. Also #3 in passing. Even after our game.
