im guilty as well, i think its kinda funny.

reminds me of a time i just left work and i noticed a lizard on the hood of my car as i was driving. I pulled over to a side street and moved him to some grass...as soon as i stepped back a bird came flying in and snatched him.

oddly enough, a similar thing happened in hawaii a few months ago.

    Lizards, beware

Don't you love when you get in your car and there is a spider on the windshield.

So you want to see how long the thing lasts. I had one hold on at 45 mph.

By 50 this sucker was gone. And when I say gone, I mean in a blink.

poor fella. You know darn well he became part of the pavement, otherwise I need to watch out, because this thing has got some serious revenge on me. I'm laughing the whole time. Crap - I'm scared now. :(

Anyone remember when the two seals were released after being cleaned up from the Valdez spill? They had a big show, news outlets were there, the Exxon people made a big speech. IIRC, it cost tens of thousands to clean each one. They released them into the water, and they were promptly eaten by killer whales in full view of everyone. There's a video of it somewhere.

When you re-introduce a herbivores with that much natural predators it might be wise to re-introduce more then only 20. But i gues they will re-introduce more in the future.

    It is however pretty funny:D

Sometimes you just shouldn't try and buck natural selection. If you want to preserve endangered species, you need to keep them isolated from the habitat that wiped them out to begin with.

My wife and I have a couple rabbits - they make great pets. Sucks to see a bunch of them die needlessly.
