    wow
any 'religion' that involves baby dick sucking is a joke.

There can't be any other way about it.

If insistent on doing it, it needs to be done by medical professional in medical/hospital setting.

If this same procedure was done by a satanic priest people would be calling for the death penalty.

What year is it 2012? or BC 900?? and dont give me that year 5700 garbage either.

Looks like the parents just need to make sure the guy has a clean herpes test. And all years are arbitrary "garbage." Time is a concept meant to measure and track physical processes.

Way to condemn an entire religion because of a practice carried out by a few. IMO, there is more good that comes out of religion than there is negatives. This particular practice obviously is very disturbing and I'm sure the attention this article will bring will get less people involved in it....hopefully.

I think you know I can't give you numbers, lets be honest, do we really quantify positive deeds due to religion? It's a lot easier to measure the atrocities and negative outcomes of religion than it is due to the other way around. IMO if we didn't have religion at all, most of us would gravitate towards living by the rules of the jungle, survival of the fittest. I think religion at its core tends to promote the peaceful side of our nature. Obviously there are inherent flaws within the religions, if there weren't we'd all be of one religion. My main point is that people who tend to take a moderate approach, which is the majority of people, they bring about more positives in this world than they would if they didn't follow anything.

    Circumcision is r****ded.

They used to think it had health benefits that kept your weiner in shape. Turns out washing up has the same benefits.

My favorites were the people who railed against tattoos and body piercings because they desecrated bodies that were made perfect by god, but didn't hesitate to chop off the tip of their son's penis.

Anyway, I'm very angry that this boy had to die because of outdated, religious horse s***, but in no way am I surprised.

If part of a religious ritual is that your shaman has to cut your infant son's penis and suck away the blood, consider changing religions. Or don't let the dude cut your son's penis and suck on it.

I would expect these things to be common knowledge by now, but religion was born from ignorance, so maybe I'm the stupid one for expecting change.

So you're telling me that most people make good moral decisions because another being told them to do so or they will be punished by eternal suffering? So people do good for their own selfish reasons.

Yup religion is a healthy practice.

Males with uncircumcised wieners catch the HIV at a far greater rate than cut males.

Its been a while since I've looked at that study and even with that in mind, circumcision is no longer recomended. It is a cosmetic procedure at this point more than anything.
