Harvey Korman died today at the age of 81.
This kinda hits home with me. I'm 36 and grew up laughing my
butt of watching the Carol Burnett show and watching him and Tim Conway cut up. Not to mention he was hilarious as the doctor in High Anxiety.
Blazing Saddles was also a classic.
    Just makes me feel old.

    RIP :( :(

One of the funniest people EVER! In any Mel Brooks movie he was in, he always stole the show. And the Carol Burnett show with him and Tim Conway :D

    Thanks for the laughter.

I'm a bit younger, but I grew up with the same. Watching him trying to keep a straight face in his skits with Conway was half the reason to watch Carol Burnett in the first place.

    RIP, Harvey.

Wow. I'm truly hit by this. Saddened. That guy was incredible. Big bummer.

Here's Tim Conway improv'ing his lines and breaking up Burnett, and Korman.

EDIT: sorry - that was Dick Van Dyke, not Korman.

I guess I'm old, but I've never seen any TV show that made me laugh as hard as I did when I watched Carol Burnett.

    Damn, beat me to it!

The Carol Burnett Show - to this day - is the funniest show in the history of television IMO. Greatest ensemble cast ever, and Korman was a big part of it.

I used to love it when they lost their composure, broke character and started laughing. It was real - not like the SNL cast that pretends to do it to get cheap laughs........................

Loved him in all the Brooks movies, especially Blazing Saddles.

I used to watch the show with my mom all the time when I was a kid. I'm not going to say it was the "funniest show ever" but it was back in it's day.

Korman was also the voice of the Great Gazoo.
