I have heard of him but am not too familair whith his music. One of my friends told me to check out some of his stuff a while back but I forgot about it. I listed to some of the sample clips and its definilty something i would like.

Do you have a suggestion for which album to start with?

"One of These Things First" was recently on the Garden State soundtrack. Really well used in the movie.

"Pink Moon" is 26 or so minutes of musical bliss. I have his other 2 albums in "Bryter Layter" and "Five Leaves Left" and although good, they pale in comparison to "Pink Moon". What a sad, sad day when the world lost this musical genius.:(

You've probably heard him and didn't know it--"Pink Moon" was the song used in that Volkswagen commercial with the people driving around at night in a white convertible. They arrive at a party, but decide to not get out and drive around instead.

    Great album.
