Forget Tinsley! He is ALWAYS injured. The last thing the Rockets need is a player that isnt durable! Pass!

Jackson makes sense for Houston in terms of getting a 3rd scorer, length at the 2 guard and outside shooting. But do they want to take on the years left on his contract?

Houston doesnt have enough to obtain Jermaine Oneal.

He gonna play only 70 games at most for you every season. I am willing to bet $100 on that.

Stephen Jackson is playing brilliantly against the Nets. He is a fighter. He has gotten into trouble in the past but he would look good on the Rockets.

Jackson would be a REAL nice fit, but can he defend other 2's very well? Perimeter defense is a big concern and I don't know if he is quick enough to guard anything on the perimeter except SF's.

A willingness of Rox to take Tinsley and SJax would be a willingness of Indy to take Ho and Head and Ryin'.

More talent more salary more (potential) headaches (particularly JT).

Jackson has the basketball IQ of a potted plant. He may be ok as a third option, but he will screw up a large percentage of the time when he's asked to make a decision.

I hope no Miles haters are wanting to get S.Jax in here. They have the same attitude.

I heard Rick Carlisle might want to leave. I hope he will be Rox's coach if JVG can't do it and Phil Jackson is not available. Carlisle might not be a championship coach, but I think he is an upgrade over JVG.

Except that Jackson is a relatively proven player. Finals experience, a propensity to hit big shots, seems pretty competitive. Sure, he's got some craziness in him, but maybe he learned something from the brawl.

Miles is basically a lazy coach-killer with a drinking problem. He's accomplished nothing as a player.

Bad comparison. SJax is mor like Rickie Davis, less like Miles. Much less.

Except that Jax plays hard, doesn't have run-ins with coaches, isn't injury-prone and hasn't been rumored to be drinking on practice and game days.

Jackson is also a local guy (if you count Pt. Arthur as being local) maybe that could help things if he has a say in it.

sure he plays hard...... but think his lack of smarts really takes away from that, part of me understands his reaction to the artest thing, but have you ever read anything he has said about it down the track... just flat out dumb, he still thinks he did nothing wrong

Tinsley is the Pacers best PG but he is hurt ALL THE TIME with every injury in the book. The constant injuries make it impossible to have a decent offense.

Jackson is a streak shooter with no idea of what is a good shot. It's maddening when he's 2-for-10 and keeps jacking it up from 23 feet with 15 seconds left on the shot clock. The flip side are the days where he goes 8-12 to balance out the 3-12 days.

There are definitely some toxic lockerroom chemistry issues besides the cancer that was Ron Artest. The best guess among Pacer fans is that Jax is the main bad attitude.

Jermaine O'Neal isn't going anywhere unless McHale offers up Garnett.

    I'd rather pick up tinsley.

SJax, seems like a malcontent and I haven't seen SJax hit that many big shots. Good exp, good player, but I wish he would shoot less. BTW, doesn't he look like a black willem dafoe?

Holy sh#t you hit the nail on the head you overly observant b*stard! :D

I've always thought that subconsciously and now that you said it, it's so clear now. Willem Blackfo.
