Even though I could have put this into the game thread, I loved this quote so much, I thought it was worthy of discussion in its own thread (mods, feel free to merge if I am out of line).

Cuttino Mobley after the win against Utah: I personally have learned that we can overcome a lot of different situations, you know what I'm saying?" Mobley said. "On the road, when we were down like that, we folded. Coach kept telling us, `You can't fold like that.'

"And I mean, after four straight years of losing, you've got to smack yourself in the face and say, `You gonna keep being a loser or you gonna win.' "

I just love that last sentence. "You gonna keep being a loser or you gonna win". Hot damn! That gave me goosebumps.

Yeah, I really like that quote too. I also enjoyed the interview with JVG a couple of days ago. He said many of the things that I scream at the TV (except last night, I was screaming at the team as tickets fell in my lap) every time the Rox play.

I was really pleased to read Cuttino went to coach Thibodeaux to improve his performance, and gave him credit after the game. Didn't much like the way he started the game with turnover and foul on the first play, but he kicked it into gear later. Of course, he is supposed to dominate the Utah 1 and 2s, isn't he? I mean, these guys aren't exactly Kobe Bryant. Anyway, here's some credit for the good effort from a hata. Congrats to you, Mr. Mobely. If only you could get Steve to locate the tape room!

I don't remember a time yesterday where Cat shot the ball while being double teamed. He passed out of it. Could you elaborate?

What could he have done to be more than OK being the #3 guy on our team? Give him some credit. Damn

When Cat is on, he's really good, and he helps us win. The other 70% of the time, he is just a lesser Steve, for good or bad.

Also, here's your evidence that you bash the guards whenever you get a chance. Now that didn't take long.

when it was mobeley and dickerson, the latter was more heralded. now with he and francis, the same is true. he doesn't care, he keeps plugging along.
    i'm gonna say it:
i would rather have mobley than francis, contracts taken into consideration of course, as mobley doesn't b****, does whatever the team asks of him and is picking up van gundy's system faster than francis. francis has tons of trade value and he is expensive. did you guys see lopez kill franchise again?
