What is up with Quizno's TV commercials? Do they really think the sight of some guy breast feedin' on a wolf, or some guy eating out of the trash, or some guy eating his food after his dog was chewing on it, will make me hungry and want to eat their food? I don't find these commercials offensive, I just think they are counter-productive and stupid. My wife completely refuses to eat there because of them. Any thoughts?
Even their radio commercial, like the accounts getting slaughtered by Nija's and then there's quiet. Their commericals are way over the top, however, The (lettuce) commercial and the pants commercials were hillarious.
This is what happens when the nerdy 90s kids put away their Weezer albums and join the ranks of the evil undead (Ad execs).
My wife and I saw the "man breast feeding off of a wolf" commercial yesterday and were absolutely horrified. After I saw that, the last thing I wanted to eat was a $7 sandwich. That commercial was pretty off if you ask me.
the original ones were kind of funny. the recent ones though, especially chef jimmy, has been a total dud. their stuff is overpriced anyway..
If only they did not make such awesome sandwiches... Quiznos is, IMO, the best combination of health + taste in the fast-food sandwich chain category(Better than Subway, Schlotzkys, Arbys, Blimpy, etc...).
The guy that's in the quizno's wolf suckling commercial is also in the fed ex, "why do I keep you around here" commercial. btw, italian dressing on a sandwich sucks!!
Quizno's is freakin awesome. Yes, a little on the expensive side, but it's worth it. And the perfect way to end your meal there is to get a cookie (any of them will work, but my favorite is the chocolate chip-oatmeal cookies) and have them run it through the oven. Or you can have them do it to a brownie too. It makes dessert so much better...
Quizno's was good until they 'sold out' as I like to say. Seriously, back in the day I would eat there 3 times a week. Now I go in there and they've raised prices, totally changed how they serve/package their sandwhiches, and they are not made as well as they used to be in my opinion. I just feel like I'm walking into some trendy hangout now and it pisses me off.
Ahhhh... Just had the Bourbon Chicken sandwich. Good stuff and healthy too. More expensive than Subway, but I got it double toasted so it was worth it.
I must be one of the few that had a Quizno's sandwich once (3 years ago) and nearly regurgitated instantly after swallowing. The vilest sandwich I've ever had in my life. I'l stick to Subway, thank you very much.
