Quite frankly, Mr. Triple Double is beginning to bore me!

I cannot understand why Steve Francis just cannot play the game the way it was suppose to play, especially at the point. Did you see the second Q? That is why I like George Karl because he would stand for the shi*. My God! Repeatedly dribble into double and triple team, or dribbling the clock down, yet to run a proper fast break and just piling up the turnovers.

You know, with a little hot sauce and a squeeze of lime, that foot you have in your mouth might make a pretty good appetizer...

I'll take the 33-point, 12-rebound, 7-assist boredom every day of the week.

Don't forget the turnovers and EG poor shooting night and the poor running of the offense. Remember I have it all on tape except when League Pass when out. And I have all his triple double games. As a point guard, he is lacking and I put alot of the blame for our near loss tonight on him.

Some just can't be satisfied with anything. Mobley goes off for 40+ points and wins a game for us people want him traded. Francis nearly drops a freaking triple-double and people are complaining. At any point our backcourt could go off and win a game practically singlehandedly and people are never satisfied. I can't understand it. God it's a win, we actually have a winning streak. Enjoy it.

Guess what, Chester, there is no such thing as "near loss"

There is "win" and "lose". Tonight, the Rockets chose to do the first one, and a certain player had 33, 12, and 7 which MIGHT have made a slight difference...

    Go sit in the corner...

The most appropriate response to this is to quote the great Sam Cassell:

After the Bucks blew a 20-point third-quarter lead only to squeak out a 106-102 win over the Pacers, Karl began needling his two stars again.
"We've been fortunate to hold on," Karl told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "Our leadership from our stars, Sam and Ray, has been awful. They're selfish. They don't execute. They think the game is won. They don't pass the ball like we do most of the game. All we've got to do is have some patience and some professionalism."
Allen took the high road. "I thought the responsibility was on Sam and myself," Allen said. "We took the majority of the shots. We took rushed shots when we didn't have to. We have to do a better job of closing games out."
Cassell did not. "S---, we won the game, man. I don't want to hear that bull----. We won the f------ game."

you know, I have all sorts of complaints usually about Stevie, Moochie, and especially Mobley and their uncanny ability to dribble the clock out...but tonight, I thought we had lost, and we pulled it off thanks to defense and great shot-making by Steve, Moochie, Cato, and Kenny. Maybe Steve is finally learning how to win games...and when he learns, everyone else will follow.

... or maybe this team is just waking up from a nightmare? One in which Moochie is the go-to man, Cuttino is supposed to run plays, and KT is our entire front line???

    Welcome back, Steve.

Now, hurry back Maurice and Glen

    Will,

Sam Cassel will never understand what Karl is trying to do there. He knows that the kind of play that he described is what leads to losing. He is just letting them know that playing selfish basketball is going to cost them some day.

Heck, just look at the Rockets, that is EXACTLY how they play....hmmm...coincidence?

    I think not !!

what are you talking about, he caused us to have a near loss? that doesn't even make sense. the man was nails in the 4th and led us to victory, what else could we ask for? this is like the whole glass is half empty crap, how bout saying we had a close win instead.

Or perhaps Sam just didn't like being criticized openly to the media after a win. It does seem like a ****ty thing to do to slam on two of your better players to the media, even if it was an ugly win. Karl could have said exactly what he said directly to the players in the locker room. That much, I think Sam does understand, despite these intellectual shortcomings that you seem to think he has.

Contrived Pessimism is an ugly thing.

Rudy Tomjonavich seems to feel that Francis plays the game the way its supposed to be played, or else he wouldn't start him at point guard. You'll have to pardon me if I trust Rudy T's judgement on the game more than yours.
