we'll if Steven A. didn't follow that east coast bias.. then he might have some more fans... and higher ratings. I liked watching it at first.. then got sick and tired of all the bias.

he won't be missed. he asked dumbest questions. he's not a good interviewer at all. he shows favoritism to people from the same coast as him, the same state, same city, even the same race when it comes to that.

i would've excused all of that, if he would've cut that stupid catch phrase at the end of the show:

"it's my house, but your welcome anytime."

    he's too full of himself.

S.A.Smith is 10-times the interviewer that he is analyst, but even so, his show didn't have lasting power to me. It showed promise with the AI interview first night. He did a good job interviewing Bob Knight. But when he had less interesting interviewees, it was painful to watch.

I'd watch it more if it were played during the day.

This means that he's going to get more airtime on other shows..... yuck. I prefered him being on for an hour in a show I didn't have to watch over having him pop up all over the place. Please don't put him on to talk about football again ESPN.

Surprised his garbage lasted as long as it did. I would be a happy sports fan if I never heard his voice or saw his face again

So, Arsenio's little brother finally bit the dust. Probably cuz he dissed James Brown by not showing up for the fooooonerrall.

Couldn't cure that case of prejudices.

I used to really dislike him but not any more.

SAS is indeed an intelligent who often times rub folks the wrong way. He is okay. I hope he gets other opportunities in the near future. He is a very good interviewer - he may just need to refine a few things in his arsenal.

    Best wishes to him.

"Why don't they kick the field goal on first down, then they can have 4 tries to make the field goal." Classic Stephen A. football analysis right there.

He's a pretty good interviewer, actually had some of the best interviews I have seen. However, as an analyst he's pretty weak and often very bias, and he makes no secret of his bias to/against certain players/personalities in sports.

His show was mediocre at best, sometimes very good but mostly just not very interesting. Overall, I wouldn't mind having ESPN/ABC assign him to do various interviews with athletes and I would prefer seeing very little of him as an analyst...except when he does the NBA Shootaround with G-Money and Legs, I like seeing them going at it, it's pretty entertaining.

Smith is so obnoxious, overbearing, and egotistical that he was actualy somewhat entertaining, in the same way professional wrestling is. But, I won't miss him.
