    Shaq/Yao
After thumping Yao last night, Shaq says he's still "M.D.E." (Most Dominant Ever). N.O.E.S.H.W. (No One Ever Said He Wasn't.) I.E.T. B.U.O.T.R. (It's Easy to Beat Up On the Rookie.) I.O.H.C.A.I.J.C.O.B.T.K. (Instead of Having a Complex About It, Just Concentrate On Beating the Kings.) OK?

Shaq must be real proud by beating up on a rookie. He should be thanking God that there weren't any real centers while Shaq was or is in his prime.

I highly doubt Tmac would start proclaiming himself God if he was to kick Lebron's ass next year.

    Most Dominant Ever??

How about averaging over 50 a game for an entire season or averaging over 20 rebounds a game for an entire career. Not impressed enough? How about leading the league in scoring seven years in a row, in rebounding 11 out of 14 years, or, despite all your scoring prowess, still leading the league in total assists one season, or, scoring 100 in a game.

The only thing Shaq can claim to do better than Wilt is shoot free-throws, and just barely. And Shaq is just as much a physical abnormality today as Wilt was back then.

I agree that Shaq is nowhere near as dominant Wilt, but he is not the same physical abnormality. Wilt was an National High School Track and Field champion. He was an absolute freak of nature.

When Shaq can do something like that against the MVP (Duncan) of the league then I'll agree he is the most dominating every. Instead of doing it aganist a rookie. No real centers in the game today has give that fat ass a big head.

What Hakeem did to David (the freakin MVP of the league!) in 95 is the most dominant display of basketball I have EVER seen.

I back up that 100% Shaq has no shot at ALL. He would be a 10 ppg/9 rbg player for his career if he didnt have all that size on him. And if the Refs made calls.

Shaq still has weaknesses to his game. When Yao was able to force him 10 feet on out, he clanged almost all of them. Also Shaq is weak baseline. Next time, the Rockets should force him to baseline. That's how they went at him in Yao-Shaq I, and even when Yao was getting beat, EG was there with a couple of weakside blocks to support. In fact, I'd be willing to bet, that's how the Spurs play Shaq. Forcing him baseline.

    Dear Shaq,
Thank you Shaq. What you did last night was the best thing a rookie could go through. Especially in Yao's situation. There is no better learing process for a rookie than getting beat around By the "MDE" or any veteran player. Yes, you are the best center in the league(right now) and yes you kicked Yao's ass a little bit. But we all saw it in your eyes big man. It was like an old general winning his last battle. We could see the frustration and the fear and the realization that your time is short. Yes, you are still big and strong, and your dunking skills are simply amazing(sarcasm). But it seems that is all you have left. You know as well as everybody else knows that that big ol' body of yours can only last so long. Yes you still have a few years left of your dominance, but we could see last night in the way that you bullied our rookie, dear veteran, you are not next. You are the past, and yao is the future. The "next MD" might have had a bad game last night, but you just wait. You see, as a rookie it is good to get whooped. Yao will take this and turn it to his advantage against you in the future. I can't wait to see Yao beat your old rusty ass in about 2 or 3 years. You see when that happens, Yao will be on the upside of his career, and you will be on the downside of yours. Yao will have the last laugh. So lay it on the rookie now, while you still can, so you can keep you ego satisfied for these last few years.
    Yours Truly,
    Rocket Ry

P.S. - Good luck against the Kings and/or Spurs. You will need it.

i watched the spurs play the lakers on abc the other week.

when duncan guarded shaq 1 on 1 shaq didnt do hardly anything, as opposed to when he was being guarded by the other players on the team so duncan didnt get in foul trouble.

when shaq was guarding duncan, duncan blew right past him if he didnt get doubled by other players.

if duncan would put on more weight he would shut the fat ahole up, and i'd prefer duncan dominating him since duncan doesnt ever talk crap.

I am just afraid he'll develop Ming-titis as soon as Yao begins to outplay him.

    Per ESPN:

..........Rogers told the Sacramento Bee he could pick out who wrote on the ball out of a game film.

"I'm surprised he doesn't come forward," Rogers told the newspaper. "A lot of people want to shake his hand."

The culprit apparently scribbled the expletive during a fourth-quarter timeout of the rival Kings' 107-99 victory over Los Angeles on March 20.
