IIRC, after the first round, best record determines home-court advantage each series. San Antonio should have homecourt regardless if they meet the Rockets or the Lakers.

I wanted to shut this idiot up asap.

Homecourt or no, San Antonio is going to tear LA up. San Antonio is a lot like Houston in style, but much better. With as much trouble as we've given LA, I don't see how they stand a chance against the Spurs. Defense is just as good, and with a better post threat.

SA has homecourt and they are going to kill LA. That's if they make it to the 2nd round.

Anything can happen in game 5. (Shaq or Kobe gets injured)

I agree, SA will rip the lakers a new one.

Tony Parker has owned payton since his rookie year, and fisher can't guard worth a crap anymore.

Manu has owned the lakers, and has gotten Shaq in foul trouble on numerous occasions.

Bowen is one of the best defenders against Kobe.

Turkoglu has been making 3's unlike any of the Lakers role players.

Duncan has owned Malone over his career, dropping 46 points on him once.

Rasho and Duncan can hit the midrange jumper on the pick and roll, so Shaq will have trouble stopping parker and the big man.

Other than Shaq, the Lakers have no shotblocking since they got rid of Horry.....

who is now hitting clutch shots for the spurs.

Good luck LA. Maybe Karl will cry this time.

i like keep kenny's thought process. and in case you didnt know espn has already made there decision on who is playing the spurs.

Thirty-three days. That's how much calendar time has elapsed since the San Antonio Spurs' last loss. The defending champions closed the regular season on an 11-0 run, and just swept Memphis out of the first round to earn themselves a fair bit of rest before opening the second round at home against the Lakers.
