As much as I loved how Troy Daniels has been playing in past 2 games and so happy for him, I couldn't stop wondering this: what happened to Garcia, Casspi, Powell, and Hamilton?

I was shocked to see Troy in game 3 (I knew he was a great shooter and all, keep up the good work Troy), but do any of you wonder the same thing? What happened to our late season signing of Josh Powell and the veteran experience of Garcia. Did McHale lose all faith in them or other reasons?

Not blaming anyone here, I am already over the loss (kinda). Just can't get my head around it.

Please lock if there has been a similar threads. Cheers.

I feel like our rotations have always been small this year, and our main guys have put up big minutes throughout. That's just something that's up to the coach, and our rotation in the playoffs is up to McHale as well, nothing we can do. Props to him for putting in Daniels though. Not sure about the rest of the tactics.

I agree with you and propz to McHale for taking a risk in Daniels. Maybe signing of Josh late season was just a injury back up plan, who knows. This season especially the playoffs have been somewhat of a New Age thing that I have never seen before. Playoffs in general, not just our Rockets.

Been wondering this a lot, when parsons is struging I wouldn't mind throwing in Garcia for a few minutes. He hit several big 3s vs okc last season. Plus maybe give our starters some rest. But I'm starting to give up on wondering why Mchale does what he does, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

im not too surprised. no offense to garcia, but his defense has been up and down this season. those guys primary role is to come in and space the floor. none of em do it better than daniels. and it's not even close.

Our coach should have a try on Garcia and Hamilton, but no Cassip and Powell. Facing the level of defense in playoffs, Cassip may get a lot of turnovers, mis-shots and fouls. Powell will also be useless because of his bad performance in China Basketball Association this year. He was beaten badly by an old man in the opponent team...

If Harden is chucking again and stinking up the joint I wouldn't mind benching him and giving someone else a chance.
