If Schuab is out for the Season
    Sage does not improve.

After next year . .. would you take a flyer on Vick?
[I'm going with the ideal that he would come cheap]

    Sure I would.

But the Texans don't even take people with questionable character I doubt they will take somebody that served jail time.

That would suck for Schaub to become back up to Vick again.

all these polls without enough options.. can't vote again.

I don't want Vick.. but it's because I don't want him as a QB on my team. I don't like his version of QBing..

Im heavily considering it but only if hes a free agent not a trade 4 a top 3 picks. Thats what really has us in wholes we have made bad trades for our top 3 picks.

I don't have any problem with him since he has more than paid his "debt" after he serves his time, I just doubt he can be a QB. He was also often injured.

It's a great thing to forgive someone. I can see the headlines now: "Bob mcnair welcomes vick as his own son. Together they build the largest dog shelter in the americas."

I don't think vick will have it anymore though. If we can just figure out a way to keep infidels from putting cheap shots on schaub, we will be fine. I think the opposition does it because they know the texans won't act on it. As you may already know, the Dbag from the vikings, got another fine this past week. a whopping 25.000. I'm sure he won't do it again.

If Vick could show some of his old form I'd love to have him.

There's always a place in NFL for felons and former QBs.

Let's be honest for second, what Vick wasn't the worst thing (not saying it was good) ever done NFL players, the NFL has drug dealers, wife beaters, players who slept underaged girls (ex. Mark Chumra), Pac-Man (who paralyzed someone and slamed woman's head against the table) and players have actually killed somebody (ex. Leonard Little who was under the influence killed woman in wreck and got another DUI later on).

I say why not give him a second chance? He's not really a threat to society as is, if it was a multiple murder, a child molestation case, or treason, I would lean more to say probably not. Actually, what he did wasn't even felony in several states until lawmakers went back to change the law, during controversy. Again, not justifying his actions, but they are NFL players who have done much worse, like rape, attempted murder, and etc.

As QB, he could've been better, but he did make the Falcons better than what they were. With Vick, they were never terrible, I would even say that they were the NFC version of Jaguars. For the most part, he was the reason that they were successful, without a fantastic OL, great receivers, and good head coach.

In fact, I would think he would be great on a team where he isn't the star player or isn't expected to do much. Could you imagine him on a team that is already accomplished without a decent QB, without good backup, or a QB going out the door, like the Titans, Bucs, Vikings, or even the Dolphins. And he did take his team to title a game.

It's easy for people to criticize him as QB, but he was playmaker, probably greatest running QB ever coupled with a strong arm. It would be a good risk for a team that needs a decent QB. Personally, I would almost take a chance on Vick than I would a rookie fresh out of college, mainly because you know what you are getting, While, a good proportion of 1st round rookie QBs are flops, anyway.

Why not? If he's cheap, give him a shot. If he fails, no worries

Dog fighting is inhumane and wrong, but personally I think beating your wife or murder (*cough* Ray Lewis *cough*) is a helluva lot worse.

I'd give him a shot. But I also doubt he'll succeed

He wasn't the greatest QB anyways. Exciting, yes, but when Shaub is healthy (which isn't nearly enough) I think he's a better QB anyways.

I might look at him as a slash type player and run our own wildcat formations if he still has his speed and quickness. He would be a dynamo in that kind of setting. Running that run/pass option four or five plays per game would be an excellent way to mix things up for us offensively.

I definitely would not look at him as a QB. He wasn't a quality QB before all this mess, what makes anyone think he'll be a quality QB after having so much time away from the game?
