Hi. I am hoping someone can tell me what software I can use to make a dvd from different movie clips. A while back I used a company to transfer a bunch of really old 8mm movie films into digital movies, and they made dvds of them. The music section for the background was pretty bad and I would like to redo that and edit the movies too. So I would have to get the movies off the dvds, change the music, and re-burn them with menus etc. Any suggestions? Thank you very much, Rocket fans.

Pinnacle is the program I use. It is pretty good. I think Pinnacle Studio 12 is the latest one.

In the past, I've used TMPGEnc DVD Author and really liked it.

Pinnacle Studio and Windows Movie Maker are two good ones.

For Windows, I also agree that Pinnacle is good.

For Macs, iMovie generally does the trick.
