I just got my Tivo yesterday just in time for the NBA season. I want to record the entire season on my Tivo (I am upgrading my system to over 200 hours). I was wondering if there is any easy way to automaticly record all the games or do I have to program each game one by one. I know there is a way to record a season of a tv show but tv shows are on the same channel and same time every week. NBA league pass will show rocket games on different channels every night. Just wondering since I don't have much experience with it.
the way i do it is... tivo menu..pick program to record...create a wishlist... topic sports..sub topic basketball..keyword "houston rockets"... enjoy..tivo rocks..
Thanks for the help guys. I will be swimming in the Rockets with this and the mini pack my wife bought. This is going to be a good year.
HOWEVER!!!!!, I suggest you always set it to record 15-30 minutes extra in case there is overtime. Nothing is worse than when it cuts off at regulation. It doesn't happen often but it kills you when it does. Also, another hint is the pre-game shows will get you if you do the above trick. Since it'll record 30 minutes extra of pre-game thus cutting off the real game in the 2nd quarter. That sucks more. So I create another Season Pass for the Pre-game show, set it to stop recording on time and give it a higher priority in the Season Pass Manager.
Tivo is easily the best thing to happened to basketball since MJ. I love not having to worry about missing my favorite shows.
