Has it been acting up the past few days? Worse than usual?

Sometimes it gets worse a few days after a heart breaking event due to psychological reasons. Like going on a date and the date ending up crying and having to go home.

Aches for me but not too bad. Are you taking any joint supplements?

I'm amazed how a slight change in the weather can set it off.

If you are in a lower barometric pressure your inflamed body parts swell a little more (insert dick joke)
There are some good medications for arthritis, methotrexate and meloxicam are pretty benign from my experience.
I haven't had to step up to Humira yet.

what type do you have! i assume you're young so maybe it is a Rheumatoid or Reactive! did you notice any deposit? you don't have to wait , do a work out and testing as soon as possible, a change to dosage or shifting to another medication is a must

I didn't know Humira helped with arthritis. I just started on this a week ago for a different condition. Hopefully it keeps the pain arthritis in control. It was unbearable a year ago I could barely walk let alone get out of bed.

Usually does for me around this time of year. Gets worse going into December and then gets better after New Years.

I take Aleve everyday and it seems to help more than anything else I've taken. I've never been given anything prescription required.

methotrexate and meloxicam ,aleve etc works only on Rheumatoid, different type/severity of situation require specific treatment.

It's funny that this thread popped up. I woke up last night because of a throbbing pain on the middle joint of right pinky. Took some advil to fall back asleep and now it's just a nagging pain on the outer part of the right pinky joint. It's not swollen or anything just a weird nagging pain. Can you get arthritis on just one finger?

absence of skin rash /dermo disease /joint swollen often overlap with pseudogout /psoriasis . but it does not necessarily confirm it , could be something as simple as microfracture

Yeah visually the finger looks fine. Nothing was wrong when I went to sleep and around 2AM I just woke up to it. Weird. Maybe I slept it on or something.

I've got multiple arthritic joints and I've never had weather changes bother me. Is the weather change just a psychosomatic thing?

Proper rehab, exercise, and an ibuprofen has been the best thing for any joints that hurt me. Also, not doing repetitive things that hurt and being aware of how things hurt me also helps too. Sounds like really stupid and obvious advice, but it is amazing how we can do things unknowingly that hurt ourselves.

Barometric pressure changes can certainly affect the body. Heck, more babies are born on days when the pressure drops.

I have it in my fingers not really a problem unless I do a lot of work with wrenches.

My father has it fingers, knees, elbows, ect... He was told to try a gluten free diet. Has any one tried this?

Nope. My stupid knee swells up a bit and gets stiffer, regardless of what I've done the day before.
