So I was at Chuy's tonight and we sat outside. There was this couple who sat across from us basically smoked non stop for the entire time we were there. The two of them smoked non stop the entire time when they ordered their sodas, while eating chips, while eating their entrées and then for the 30 minutes after they finished eating. Here is my question, how on earth can you smoke non stop for that long and do you get a longer buzz from smoking that many cigarettes? Do you ever get a smoking hang over?
gmao. ffb is gonna have a field day with this. i'll sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride to d&d. btw big perm errrrr... big worm... errr... big sherv , no... no smoke hangovers. also, just a heads up... it's kinda obvious that since smokers can't smoke inside, then we will generally wait a little longer to sit outside. what's wrong waiting five to ten longer to sit inside?
4 real...They have that in Dallas, but that's why most of the rest./bars are in Addison...I'm sure they smoke in their car, their home, etc...After a while, you get immune to it...
I can tune out someone yakking on their phone. Same with other restaurant patrons talking. I can't tune out the smell of smoke while trying to eat. Same with any other foul smell.
The fact that smokers are ousted these days lets us smoke a few chains outside. Basically, we know we can't smoke again once we're back inside. That, especially when drinking, can tend to some chain smoking.
I have no problem with cell phone talkers or smokers at restaraunts. But on the other hand little babies crying makes me want to punch these misguided youth square in the face. Also annoying is when that toddler wanders around the restaraunt, stops and stares at you for a minute.
I really wish that people that smoke would at least acknowledge how disgusting it is to those that aren't trying to kill themselves. Taking a dump on a plate is extreme, but I would prefer to eat next to someone who hasn't showered in days rather than someone smoking. Just because people with wild kids are annoying does not make annoying less so for the majority of us.

LOL, I'm guessing you never even took one puff of a cig in your life, which is good. Anyways, cigarettes don't give you a buzz or hang over or anything like that. Its not a controlled substance so it's not going to get you "high". To this day, I still don't understand why people smoke cigarettes when they don't do a damn thing to you except get to light headed and worsen your lungs. Now, I myself do smoke weed because it'll actually get you high and it's a great stress and pain reliever, probably the best. And unlike alcohol, it doesn't give you any hangovers or make you throw up all over yourself. It's also damn near impossible to over dose from mar1juana. I swear, if mar1juana is ever legalized everywhere in the world, we'd be one step closer to world peace. Give everybody a nice fat blunt to puff on and there would be no more wars.
No I understand people smoke outside, that is what the section is for. What I was amazed with is how someone can smoke for an hour and half straight. It amazed me. I have two friends that smoke quite a bit in my opinion. But this couple put them to shame. I have never seen anyone smoke cigarettes end e to end like that.
Yeah I have never really smoked in my life. My dad smoke when I was younger and I hated the smell. he had to quit when he had triple bypass. I don't care if people smoke. It is their own body and they can do what they choose. But what someone posted earlier is true. When you smoke in a public place you bother others. That annoys me. Drinking doesn’t bother others unless you get obnoxious. I mean if I am at a nice restaurant that has a nice patio I cam not allowed to sit out there without being bombarded by smoke. Sometimes I wish I could rent a cry baby and sit next to a smoker. Just to piss them off.
