My roomates and I are going to be renting a house here pretty quick and was just wondering what the avg cost of your water and gas bills are. We are tryin to figure out how much everything is going to cost and everyone we ask tells us something diffrent about those things.

I have a 2600 sq. ft house and feel I am very conserving. My insulation could be better, but I'll have to deal with it for now.

    It varies seasonally.

During the summer months the light bill can get darn close to 275, but during the winter, it reduced to 27 bucks. I have 2 AC units (1 up, 1 down)

My gas bill is inversely proportionate to the light bill and gets up to almost 175 in the winter monthes and as low as 20 bucks during the summer months.

My water bill is only high when I run the sprinkler system. If I don't use it, it's around 20 bucks. If I water my lawn it doubles, but that still pretty low.

You can definately predict and set aside money.

    I hope this helps.

Water runs me about $15 bucks a month. Gas is about $20 a month in the summer and $100 a month in the winter. 1600 sqft house.

1300 feet here /Townhouse, I live alone, Florida weather, I'm not so much at home, my bill comes up to 70 bucks a month, hahahahaha, trash and water is already included in my mortgage

I do not cook a lot and my AC is on around 4 hours a day....

When I used to live with my parents, 4 people in a house, it would come up around 150 to 200 easily....water was around 15 and trash a little less

I have a 1290 sq ft house. During the hottest part of the summer, my electric will get over $200, but not much more. We have central air but the master bedroom was converted from the garage, and it just has a window unit. During the winter, it will occasionally dip down below $100.

Water is usually around $30-35. Gas is about $25 and doesn't change much.
