Any former Best Buy employees on here (or anyone that knows the following question)? If so, how much do Sales Associates get paid an hour? I'm currently a college student and I have my final interview with the company in a few weeks. And, I was just wondering because another job opportunity just popped up for me. Thanks in advance.
I know a couple of people who worked at Best Buy. Sorry I don't know how much they made, but what I do know is they didn't work at Best Buy for the money...they worked there for the employee discounts.
Depends on experience, but starts around 7/hr (this is based on info from a few years ago) and no commission.
It has always seemed to me that its hard to get hired by Best Buy. Ive had friends apply before and even myself, and never got an interview....
I made $7.50 when I worked there a couple years ago. The discounts were pretty good depending on what you want to buy.
I applied to that **** hole like 3 times. Finally gave up, now I'm making $10, $15 overtime pay while in school.
I worked at CC when I went to college. I made 20-35 dollars an hour depending on the season. It was one of the easiest jobs I ever had. I taught people how to take advantage of the extended warranty and got paid for it.
i worked there in 2001. back then i was getting about 8.50. And yeah, like the other posters said: you'll spend more there then you save. It's pretty sad.
