LOL. That was what I was thinking. They were booing everyone. They were booing Yao. They were booing the Rockets. They were booing at Jason Terry. They were booing at the refs. WTF? It was unusual. I don't know. Their fans are weird. In the very beginning, they were all booing at Yao. Then Yao made his DUNK OF THE YEAR dunk, and they were all "buzzed". We should have won. Their fans have problems. They know they will get refunds at the end of the year. :)

I noticed that too. I think it's the bizarre crappy sound on Channel 51 creating a bizarre echo.

It was non-stop, monotoned. I cant imagine people booing with the same pitch for 48 minutes .

They had about 10 fans there at the beginning... maybe you were hearing the AC blowing in that empty cave. I think they ended up with about 200 fans.

I was thinking the same thing as well. Booing all around. What I didn't like even more, was hearing the "clank" from our side of the court. Literally.

Didn't the paper this morning state that the Hawks had 17,000 fans at this game?

Hi, guys, I went to the Philips Arena to watch the game. I can clearly tell you that the "boo" for everyone you were talking about was not true. Your TV channel sucks.

Atlanta Hawks has the second worst attendence in the legue, but yesterday the arena got about 16,000 people thank to the Chinese and Aisan fans. When Yao Ming was introduced at the beginning, he drew a big ovation. Unfortunately, Yao Ming didn't play very well last night.

I thought the fans was cheering for Yao everytime he touches the ball and they were "ahhh" and"ohhhh" on his nice moves and on his shots that strangely rolled out of rim on him. They went crazy after Yao gives Theo a shaq facial. Even the Hawks commentators were having a good time on that play. Nene had a good game lastnight. Let's see if the Rockets can bounce back from this horrible game.

They must've all came in at the end because at the beginning the stadium was empty.

All those people must have been crammed into the upper bowl b/c there were many empty seats behind the benches.
