So, a few days ago I listed an old television I have on Craigslist. It's a 42 inch 720p LG Plasma that's about three years old. I'm selling it for pretty cheap because it'd old, 720p, and the picture isn't the greatest. I was up front about all of this in the ad. I've had several people e-mail me asking if I still have the box for the TV. Why are so many people interested in whether or not I have the box for a 42 inch TV that's several years old? At first, I thought it might be some sort of scam, but then a few of the people also e-mailed me with their local phone numbers.
They need something to stuff your body in once you meet. It's Craigslist for crying out loud!! Take some friends and shotguns with you when you make the sale!!! Actually, I have no idea. It's only a 3 year old tv and maybe you're asking for too little and they want to flip it.
Weird they'd be asking for one. I'm assuming maybe they want it to help in transporting? or maybe to verify specs? Then again they could just look up model number online.
