Do you think that it will be better to get NBA 2K4, rather than NBA 2K3 because by then Yao would have played a full season and the game makers would increase Yao's stats on the game (make him better)??? I'm mean, what stats are they basing the NBA 2K3 on? He hasn't played in the NBA yet, but the PS2 game is out already. I hope they aren't basing his stats on the CBA.
man just get 2k3 it will take to long for the new one to come out. But yes it does suck that you can't edit player. Oh yeah by the way. Wrong forum.
Well, there wasn't a gaming forum. Also, not many PS2 sites care about Yao; the rest of the USA didn't get a 1st pick! But, I'm know that there are a lot of Yao fans here (and a few gamers).
This could go in the Hangout section. I would just rent NBA2K3, if you like it, buy it. If not, wait.
EXACTLY! Plus, lets just hope he is in the darn game and doesnt get snubbed like Eddie was last year with Live 2002. Lets just hope he gets signed by mid September, about the time where game makers make their final roster for each game. But I dont think it should be a problem with those games going online through PS2 and Xbox. I heard everytime you start a XBox live game, it would automatically download any updates, everything from what type of shoes, to whose on the injured list, updated rosters (trades, free agent signings, etc...), and other neat things. As long as you getting a game that online capabilities, you should have any problems.
Sony just put out an online kit that enables you to get online, either broadband or dial up. NBA 2K3 is online, and so are the new NFL games, Madden and 2K3.
I doubt you'll have to worry about Yao's stats being too low. If anything, worry about them being too high. Example: Kwame Brown was 76 overall last year, and they knew he was a High Schooler who probably wouldn't get zip minutes this year. If they make Kwame a 76 and Curry a 75, they will more than likely make Yao an 80 or above, which is perfectly fair. When I created him, he came out as an 84. They didn't snub Eddie last year: he was a 78, which sounds just right to me. Just buy 2k3 and don't worry about it.
No I dont think so, I dont see how that would be possible unless in was a standalone device. I assumed it went in the expansion bay in the back, but I honestly dont know.
This does belong in the Hangout so if someone would be so kind... From what i can gather the device plugs into the expansion slot on the back of the PS2. Finding one right now may be the most difficult part. The websites I hav eseen are all stating that the Net adapter is in high demand and they are backloged on shipping. EB even has the current ship date as being 9-13(i am not sure how totally accurate that is though because I also saw on thier site that they expect a shipment 8-27 and if you order now they will ship it yesterday ) CK
