i just got this channel in time for the NBA season, and i was wondering, do they show games sometimes or is it just highlights? are the rockets ever gonna be playing on NBA TV? is this channel crap, or is it something worth watching?

They show every regular season game. NBA League Pass is awesome. They just aren't showing the preseason games.

NBA TV and League Pass are totally different entities.

I think NBA TV will show some regular season games, at least from what I heard in the summer.

He was asking about NBA TV, not the League Pass channels.

NBA TV is like the ESPN/ESPN Classic of the NBA. They show highlights from that nights games, as well as old NBA games, including some Rockets games like the Sampson miracle shot against the Lakers, Elie's Kiss of Death and many other playoff and Finals games. It's a good cure for the offseason.

    No...

The closest you can get, is by ordering NBA.com's audio pass thing, where you can listen to the games on your cpu, like you can from a radio.

Broadband technology isn't good enough yet, to show games over the internet live in streaming video.

I tried watching a college football game on my CPU from Sat, and it was really choppy.
