There's been some recent talk from Jordan's trainer Tim Grover about MJ not being fit enough to make a return in time for the start of the season. So my question is, why can't Jordan make his return in, say, December?

Look at Mario Lemeiux in the NHL, he came back in the second half of the season and played great. No one says Jordan HAS to play an 82-game season. I don't see why if he's not ready in October, he can't just delay his comeback an extra month or two.

He could do that...But in my opinion that is kind of weak.

Play...If you can, if not, don't.

Never mind, I see what you are saying now. But, if he's not ready in October, I don't see him being ready in November, December, January, or February.

He has publicly contemplated the comeback since what April, May?

IMO, thats time enough to get ready for a season.
