First off,I don't know much about the CBA, but I saw something about how the lakers released shaw and then were able to resign him after a certain period, with a new reduced contract ? So anyway I was curious if we could use this tactic on cato,at some point ???
I'm not an expert on this, but my guess would be that Shaw's contract was not guaranteed, whereas Cato's is. So I believe that the answer would be no. However, if there is any part of it that's not guaranteed, then I'd be willing to bet that they'd release him, change their phone numbers, change the door locks, & move their offices.
