OK...I know that the 100 Club is a grand organization and I am in no way trying to knock it...BUT, by piling up thirteen of these things one on top of another but slightly offset will they get you out of a ticket? I always see people with so many of those sticker and I know they are not bragging about donating money, so the only conclusion I could come up with is that they're like a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card (so-to-speak). Anyone have these stickers and do they really get you out of a jam?
I used to have a friend that would print out fake stickers and put them on his car, he claimed that they helped him get out of tickets... it sure can't hurt. I bet on the little tickets like speeding they are more likely to cut you some slack.
Hey good subject to bring up that i have always wondered about!. someone explain to me what those stickers are please. thanks
I don't know much about the 100 Club, but the Texas Highway Patrol Association (I thought they were called State Troopers?) sends out decals to anyone who donates annually. On one of the donation levels, you get a red shield decal which authorizes police (only State Troopers would know what the shield means if at all) to pull you over between I think 2 AM-6 AM...extra security
The 100 Club is an organization that runs on donations that helps familys of fallen officers. I believe they help both Police and Sheriff's Deputies. I too have seen them stacked up and staggered on people's cars... I believe the donation is also a tax write-off.
