I can't believe I didn't post this yet!!! This thread is aimed directly at all hockey fans...but in particular, aimed at RM95. How 'bout those Ducks?? I've always liked Paul Kariya...but I think I have a new favorite team....the benefit of not having an NHL team in your home city...you change teams every year if you like!

I too have a new favorite team of the moment. it is any team that will beat the crap out of the Ducks. Not trying to make this sound like sour grapes because my opinion of this was established well before this playoff series, but the Ducks have to be the dumbest franchise inthe History of sports. Not the people in the organization so to speak or the moves the team has made but to name your team after a stupid kids movie is lame. It goes to show the problems that sports are becoming to dependant on corporations trying to make money off of them. I mean how stupid is that name. I have never seen a Duck walking around on the ice ( unless you count that worthlessly pathetic excuse for a mascot they have). Note to Disney "Ducks migrate south they do not walk on Ice". As for the series the Ducks are playing well. The Stars killed themselves last night by twice not being able to get the puck cleared well enough. They gave up 2 goals on plays where the puck should have at worst been iced.
