when is DORK ELVIS gonna push the panic button? How many games will we be under .500 till Daryl Morey pushes the panic button? This team will slowly loose games consecutively and become a below .500 team with the current staff.. unless T-mac recovers and becomes a Player again..

Panic button? Hardly. Expectations are measured and are not of years past. This team is is going to have a lot of up and downs and will hover around .500 and possibly battle for the 8th seed. Now if we were playing like the Nets, then there would be reason for panic.

Yes, lets push the panic button where we are simply trying to teach our younger players how to play together while we wait for our big man to come back next year.

Perspective people. This is essentially a throw away year. So don't do something stupid that will hurt the team over the long term.

I don't know if he will ever push the panic button this year, because we wasn't expected to do well anyway.<p>I love my Rockets team no matter how bad or good they are doing. I am more optimistic than most people and always believe we will play well no matter the situation, but looking at this team I'm kinda disappointed. Not of their play ( I think they are playing to the best of their ability), but because the analyst and writers seem to be right. We are nothing more than a hustle team. And although hustling can win games, it won't take you that far unless you have a closer. I don't want to make this a TMAC thread (it's enough of those already), but DM and RA has to make a decision. Either play TMAC to see what he has left, or trade him for a legit scorer if possible. I know easier said then done.

i think you already pushed it.....

there's a gazillion dollars on the bench in suits...it's not the end of the world and it's not our complete team out there, no reason to panic..

Yes, push the panic button before this obvious championship, dynasty-making season goes down the drain!

Slow your roll, my friend, slow your roll. Perhaps we should go back to what "panic" means because I hardly feel that an 8-8 record is indicative of that. It's effin' early in the season still and the rockets are essentially hanging with the pack. In conclusion, slow your roll.

The only ones pushing the panic button were ones that thought we were gonna rush through the Western conf and into the playoffs. It's not gonna happen, relax and have fun with this team.

If you're panicking after 16 games with a .500 record with $40 million sitting on the bench and having gone through basically the most difficult starting schedule in the NBA, you've got issues.

    No offense.
