Irritated , irritated, irritated with depression.

I am considering a punching bag to solve the matter? I need something I can beat the **** out of for hours without ideally breaking my hands or any bones in my wrists. Will these punching bags solve world hunger? Yes or no? I wish to purchase one to beat the **** out of it to combat being irritable as **** all the time. Will it help fellow clutchfan citizens?

See a doc and get some antidepressants. They aren't just for wackos or super depressed people any more.

Been done. been done, been done.

Since December '05 that's what I've been doing. I want a magic pill and I want it now. Poof!

A couple of things you don't see a lot (work out! sex!) that have helped me with the being pissed off and whatnot:

Any kind of sports is good. I played rugby for a while and that was some good stress relief. Not much to it and there are tons of amateur leagues. Anything can happen in a scrum...including punches thrown in good fun. And those guys can party like no one else. They also have groupies, which leads to sex.

Swinging a hammer helps too- I'm remodeling my house. As big a pain in the ass as it's been, I've enjoyed the labor.

Put life in perspective. My day may suck but seeing my son at the end of the day makes me realize that my 'problems' aren't anything but minor annoyances.

Ha. I've often thought about the sex angle and one-night stands. There's the whole confidence issue to even do that at the moment and a whole other thread. Hell, I have trouble talking to ****ing people on a daily basis so much that I need a dog as a crutch, much less trying to bone chicks I've barely met.

Basically, I'm trying to literally bury myself in things these days. Here's what I've done this week alone to combat being irritable and frustrated as ****. I've done yoga twice this week, I've walked Molly (our new dog) twice this week for a good 30-45 mins each time. I've read books. I've gone to class. I hate calculus currently though so that doesn't help. Here's what all of this leads to - me being really really damn tired and not feeling like doing any homework or work of any productive kind.

    It's fun stuff.

nope your only option is to bang a bunch of chicks.

i hope hope no one knows this moniker i have on here. but i had a 4some with 3 girls the other night off and on for about 3 hours. helps tons with stress.

(not that this kind of thing happens often to me)

Heavy bags get kind of boring after about 20 min.

If you buy one make sure you get a quality pair of gloves and handwraps and learn how to wrap your hands properly or else you will just be pissed off and have injured manos

Ideally, I'm looking to knock the crap out of them for just about that time... 20 mins or less. Would I still need the hand wrap part of the whole deal? I'm definitely getting gloves though.

Yes absolutely - handwraps only cost like $5, cheap. No reason to skimp on them.

I agree with SamFisher. You'll want handwraps and gloves to prevent injury. I also wear my handwraps underneath my gloves to contain the sweat somewhat. If you buy a large heavy bag you can also kick the hell out of it when you break your non-handwrapped/non-gloved wrists. :p
