What is there not to like about the Jazz? They're everything right about the sport of basketball and I am rooting for them to prove the critics wrong. Maybe in the long run winning this season and getting a low lottery pick may be bad for the team, but you gotta appreciate the hustle. If the Jazz stays true to .500 all season long, Harpring should be an All-Star.

Anyone pulling for the Jazz ( aside from the Rockets, of course ;) )?

Come on, where's the pulling for the underdog? This isn't the Malone-Stockton Jazz...

Hmmm, let's see...your first two threads on this magnificent board are about Shaq deserving to start the all star game, and rooting for the Jazz...

It's OK if you're not a Rockets fan...you can just come out and say it...

I like alot of Utah's players mainly harping and Kilerkio. I would love if the Rockets could land either one of them. But I cant root for the Jazz their fans have had like 2 decades straight of playoff apperances its time for them to experience a lottery bound season. Its still the Utah Jazz franchise I will never root for them. My hate has died down with the departures of Karla and Stockton etc..but root for the Jazz? NEVER

Not until they get rid of Sloan.

I'm convinced that Sloan turned Stockton and Malone into what they are/were.

I don't care if I am the only one with you on this board. I AM WITH YOU, all the way. The Jazz is an admirable team now, they represents the good things about basketball: clean image, team work, hard work, discipline, heart and great coaching. Of course, Ignorant hatred won't die off instantly. Therefore, don't care if others would join you. They hate all they want. It's not like others care what they think. Root for whoever you want to root for.

I don't think they'll be able to keep it up for much longer.

    I've rooted for the Clippers.
    I've rooted for the Nuggs
I've rooted for the baby Bulls
and I still root for the Grizzlies

I've got this thing for the underdog.

But the Jazz have been underdogs for for, what...the whole flipping summer???

    Die Jazz. Die.

There is not ignorant hatred in sports. The definition of a "fan" is a fanatic who blindly root for one team through thick and thin. Same with hating a team. If you do not blindly hate at least one team, than you are not a fan.

If you want to be rational, go to a philosophers' society. :p

Jazz is a ghost. Jazz is a zombie. They try to resurrect every year. They must die. They must vanish off the face of earth!!!

That's right. They represent the good things about basketball. I didn't like them when they were good, but everyone said they were gonna suck this year and they weren't gonna crack 9 wins and all that. Well I hope they make the eighth seed in the playoffs. After all, I wouldn't mind the Rockets playing them as the first seed, and then crushing them ;)

But in seriousness, I'd sooner cheer for the destruction of this year's Cavs then the destruction of this year's Jazz. The hype surrounding Lebron sickens me ( not Lebron the person, but the hype ). .
