This has probably been asked somewhere in one of the hundreds of PS3 threads.... I normally have my PS3 running through HDMI into my LCD tv at home, well I took it with me to work today and the tv here is an analog tv so I'm trying to connect it through the RCA cables. I can't get any kind of feed through the cables though, as if it's trying to put the video / audio through the HDMI even though it's not there. What can I do to get it to broadcast through the rca cables? I know you can change the settings on the XMB thing but I can't see anything. Am I screwed till I get home? Help. Thanks.
reset the ps3. hold down the power button for like 15 seconds, you'll hear some beeps. That should solve it.
AWESOME! Thanks so much! Man this is why I love the internets...especially CF.net. Such a quick response to my prob.
Well, I'm sitting around waiting for something to happen so I can do my job. Get's boring. And I don't watch tv.
What he said, but it as he said it resets, so when you take it home, you have to do the same... must be nice...
Cool , I was wondering the same thing for a while and couldn't figure it out. BTW.... Does anyone have a link to where I can down load updates for the PS3? I don't have wi-fi in my house.
Playstation.com is blocked at school for me but go to google and type in PS3 Firmware Updates and you should find the official page where you can get them from. Should be us.playstation... etc It will give you instructions on how to do it if needed.
