Ok, before you jump right to your answers, heres a little background check on me. 1. I am going to be a freshman @ UT. 2. I wont be playing any system alot 3. I would the system to have good online play 4. I would like a system with good sports games 5. I would like a system thats cheaper overall. With that said, help me determine which system I should buy, Ps3 or 360
I think that right now everybody agrees that the 360 is a much better system, the ps3 is a lot more capable but game makers have yet to take advantage of its capability. i went with the 360 because most of my friends had it. online play is really awesome but its waaay better when you play with or against people you know.
Before answering, we also have to know if you are a Republican or Democrat and what your position is on the Iraq war. You can't expect people to give informed advice unless we know the important things about you. Deciding on a game system is a more thoughtful choice than you realized.
#1, #2, and #4 are all irrelevant as differentiating factors. #3 & #5 both point to the 360. You can get them pretty cheap by now. Only catch is you need an online subscription fee, while with the PS3 you don't. But yeah, I'd probably go 360 in your case.
The only thing I would add is that if you're a MLB fan, PS3 definitely has the edge. MLB The Show (a Playstation exclusive) is definitely one of the best baseball games in years, and maybe even one of the best sports games out there. The "other" baseball game, your only option if you get a 360, is MLB 2K, and it has been below average to horrible in the last few years.
It is posts like this that make it clear the terrorists are winning the hearts and mind of US citizens.
I'm partial to 360. Besides, I don't know how true this is but I was talking to a technician at Best Buy the other day and he informed me that there's so many glitches and problems with PS3 that they're just going to let people deal with it until they release PS4. Sounds pretty shiesty.
If youre not going to play a lot, then get the PS3 for a blu-ray/media player. A year of Xbox live will make the system cost total about the same as the PS3, and if you don't play it much, you probably won't need it.
No not really, when I was making this thread I was leaning more towards Ps3 but after reading some of these comments Im starting to change my mind although IVe heard about "ring of red death" or something on 360.. Shows how much you actually knew, or thought you knew
ps3 better games coming out.. Resistance 2 Final Fantasy God of War 3 MGS4 and many more the ps3 is $400 now, btw do you really want a system that breaks down constantly?
neither, if you go to a dorm, then everyone will have something, so just go over to someone's place like RC Cola's and play his system. concentrate more on UT Sports.
