Anyone else picked this up yet? It's an awesome game. I encourage anyone who has a PS3 to get this ASAP. The creativity of it is mind-blowing. Also, I have an extra Gamestop pre-order code. If anyone has an extra Best Buy preoder code, I'll gladly swap.
I picked it up yesterday. For the first couple hours, it really wasnt doing much for me...however, I think I am starting to enjoy it a little bit more. It just isnt very exciting, but Im hoping that changes. However, I do like the fact that I go through the levels thinking Ive picked up all the hidden things, only to find that Ive gathered 50-60% of the items at the end. I like that challenge.
I have it but I didn't get a gamestop preorder code. :\ Also has anyone been able to log into the LBP network? I keep getting errors.
They're working on it now. I don't know what problems they are fixing, but I noticed my game seemed to hiccup a bit while connected. I was the top little big ninja before the servers went down - that won't last long. Go to the Gamestop you bought it at with your reciept and ask, they will give you a postcard with the code. The nice thing about the codes is that the costumes aren't just one piece, there are parts you can use with other things (the medusa skin is very nice).
Apparently the pre-order codes are shareable up to five people, so definitely spread the love. I have a Gamestop one but my PS3 isn't hooked up to the Internet right now, so I'll wait till I redeem it first before giving it away.
Yeah well it's a complicated here in residence on campus. I have to call the RezNet for them to register my MAC address and all, so I haven't bothered. I will on the weekend though.
I want to buy this game so bad, but I only have enough money for one game. I am using that for Gears 2.
