Okay I just bought a PS2 from a close friend yesterday and I played it all day long, then I wake up today and I cant get it to work! When I turn it on it says Browser or System Configuration,Ive tried all my games and some DVD's,always the same! It might be simple or it might be a major problem I dont know,The guy that sold it to me said its never done that,I think the PS2 just isnt reading anything. Any help would be appreciated
My advice would be to return it and get your money back. I'm not a contract law attorney, but I'd assume implicit in your purchase was the expectation of getting a working product. Playing it all day should not have broke it.
C'mon,I know thier are some technical experts out there that knows if there is something I can do or should I just taki it back? PLEASE!!!!!
Does it look like this? Take a look at this page Get back to us on what happens. Mango
Do this... 1) Turn the PS2 on. 2) Put a game in. 3) Turn it off. 4) Then turn it back on. See if the game fires up... If this works, I'm personally coming over and beating you over the head with spaghetti, Ren.
Doesent look like its going to start working Friend bought it about 3 or 4 months ago at Circuit City, has NO reciet, does have box and everything that comes with it. You think if I he went up to Circuit City they would exchange it? If not he will have to exchange by mail using the 1year warranty that Playstation allows. Anyone know about how long it would take to get back the new one?Im thinking 4-8 weeks I wished it was a overnight delivery,YEAH RIGHT Know what sucks!?! I have been waiting fo about two weeks to play MGS2 and the 1 day I did get to play the PS2 I played Madden 2002(starting a Franchise with the Texans)so now I will probably have to wait till after X-Mas is what Im thinking!!!
The real problem here isn't the PS2. It is your friend. It's time you replace him and find a new one. Do you have a receipt on your friend?
