I for one know that GT3 is the reason I'll buy a PS2. Oh, and Skylines rock NSX's [IMG]

My souped-up Mistubishi 3000GT will take your NSX and Skyline to school [IMG] . I have every license but the Super License . And this is the best looking game since Pong .

Just a warning, I've only been playing the stupid Free Race thingy in Arcade mode and with an automatic and only on the oval track... yeah, I know... pretty lame. [IMG] :

I'm a Nissan fan, Skylines rock, and I'm waiting for the Skyline to arrive in the US in the near-future.... BUT...

That Vette in this game is one awesome beast. I was pissed when they made it faster than the Viper. [IMG]

Maybe I should venture into some of the other areas of the game. I haven't had this much fun with a racing game since Need For Speed 3 and 4 came out for the PC.

i was in blockbuster today and saw no GT3 for rent. I know fo sure i am going to get this game when i get the PS2. Another game that i love for the PS2 is Madden 2001. It is another sweet game.

GT3 is great but I do miss the muscle cars of GT2.

dont worry about mclerens, and feraris, you can win actuall furmula 1 cars in GT3, there are a ton of cars you can unlock. and yes i do miss the muscle cars too.

my NSX does 240 no problem.
my 300zx can probably beat your skyline, and my supra definately can.
the viper is a work in progress, they are all soo sweet.
all this time playing, and im at just below 25% finished

with al of them, the nsxis by far the sweetest ride. never touch a wall, never drop below 80 in the thing. its soo choice, and in canary yellow, i highly suggest you pick one up. none of that wussy turbo crap.

    peace

GT3 does not have ferraris (Jap version has a copy). GT3 does have RUF Porches which are highly tuned Porsches, it has F1 replicas, some TVR exotics like the Speed 6, and a handful of other rare speedsters like the Toyota GT-One.

Did anyone else think that was an odd wording? Pretty? j/k Voice. [IMG]

I used to have GT2 and it was pretty cool.

On a side note, my father-in-law used to own a black NSX. That thing hauled ass!

i ain't got no PS2... but about a month ago I picked up a computer game called Sega Rally Championship... this is a great rally car game, several terrains and conditions. Cars like peugeot, subaru, toyota and lancia to choose from that got some get up...

I don't play many games but I do enjoy the driving ones!!

My GT3000 goes 175 . 0-60 in 3.8 . The races are getting harder though , I want my freakin Acura!!!!!! On a side note , Paul Walker (The white dude from fast and the furious) was given a Skyline as a gift from teh movie . He said its weird becuase the steering wheel is on the wrong side . I didnt really know that Acuras were made in America .

as far as all out speed, the viper so far has rocked over 270 for me, but the nsx is the best handling car i got so far.

the Mitsubishi 3000GT was always better than the skyline any way. those 4wd cars are for rookies. i dont own either yet, but nissans 300xz will even take the skyline for a ride.

happy driving, and remember its unsafe to drive and talk on the phone even on PS2.

    peace

Why? If you slam into a wall you just put it in reverse and its like nothing happened. [IMG]

I love turismo but I think it's too sterile and that keeps it from becoming the best racing game ever.I want them to add some damage to it,it's far too easy to use the other cars as gaurd rails.Without any damage, once you get good at it,it becomes very boring.

    I'm driving a 260+ hp/26 ft.lb. torque Mazda Miata. LOL!

I guess I'm not quite in your league yet guys. [IMG]

Man, I need to get some money and win some races... it'd be so much easier if I could just master the art of umm... turning. [IMG]
